Reese is the essence of the spoiled, lazy, crazy hound dog.

  • @Klmx92 I just got a Walker pup, too, and mine snaps at us and barks and throws all kinds of tantrums. lol We are trying hard to break her of the nipping now, but she is proving to be a stubborn little cuss! lol

  • cutie

  • I just got a walker hound puppy! He is an 8 week old puppy(8 weeks tomorrow) when he is playing or doing something and he wants to keep doing it and I will pick him up or something he will snarl, like the most meanest snarl he can to and keep trying to snap at me. I usually pull his ear and tell him he is bad and ignore him for a little while after, but is the normal? I just don't want him to be like that later on when he is bigger. Also you dog is adorable I love hounds! spotted like mine

  • My Maggie is the same way....their bark is good home security. She is very spoiled though :D

  • our Cooper also has a striking resemblance to Reese, lazy and goofy but loving to say the least. Cooper is harmless but his bark is the best home security a family could ask for.

  • my family recently rescued a walker hound, he is a very loving dog (about 2 yrs. old) we've tried to find a good for him, with no luck. we are unable to keep him. Do you know anyone interested in a good hound dog?

  • @howlingserenity My hound does that too, She does it when she is in playing mode. So, maybe they are excited! :)

  • what does that groaning noise mean that he makes. my puppy does it all the time and i have no explenation as to what it mean.

  • Our Cleo is a different color but she loves sleeping with us and gnawing on our hands :) We first thought she was a beagle when my son found her on the side of a dirt road and brought her home to us. She was only 4 weeks old and somebody had just dumped her! Now we are glad they did. She brought life back into our old dogs and us too! lol

  • We have what looks like an exact twin to Reese! He was found by our neighbor in Paulding Forest (Georgia). He was only about 41/2 months old, ribs showing and hungry. He brought him home and my Wife and I fell in love with him immediately! He also loves gently gnawing on my hand and laying on top of me or Lori when we are lying down. He is an extremely affectionate dog and very smart. I am in the process of training him for search and rescue and he is doing amazingly well.
