*Achoo* Oh sorry I'm allergic to bullshit :). I would love to debate this with you to, but I don't think we can when you avoid what disproves your "intelligence" and when I try to take on with something you arguing you doge answering my question. For example you never answered my question about the Dawes act or what a "white hero" is.

I would love to debate this with you, however it's obvious you are doing meth at this time, and I have to go make a new chief for you guys. It will dance when I flush so be sure to stand and clap even though you have no idea why. LOL This controversy may be the only thing that keep the Illini relevant, the coaches and administrators need it to keep their obscene salaries up so keep going.

(Finishing from what is above) but that happened in 1890 and the Chief was started in 1926. With the "Chiefs NEVER dance?" thing, it's not suppose to be representing a chief. It's a title to the name. My final question is what the fuck is a "White hero"?

One, we don't fit into those categories because as far as I know I have no Latino, black or Asian heritage. And actually yes I have a full blooded Cherokee great grandmother on my fathers side. And it wasn't Europeans who pushed the American Indians out of Illinois, it was the U.S. Government. On the side of was it honorable, no. Killing a whole tribe of men, women and children in a little place called wounded knee is not honorable.

*Yawn* Are you Black, Latino, American Indian, Asian, or any sort of European? Of course I am and so are you, we all fit into those categories. This "Chief" is dressed as a Lakota Indian, that was not an Ilinois tribe. Do you know that Indian Chiefs NEVER dance? What exactly do you feel this is honoring? Was it honorable what Europeans did to Native Americans? Or is this just a commercialized guilt trip? Why not a White hero as an honorable role model to look up to?

No, I'm not looking for a straw to grasp and I respect your argument. I will say though explain to me the Dawes act of 1887 or the Carlisle Indian school. I do have to say though in my school we have studied racism for an entire year and it has opened by eyes to how wide of range racism is and to me this dance shows little racism. By the way, being on the defense to the point of freaking out over a simple question, doesn't help your argument.

Why, are you looking for a straw to grasp? Anything, just any little opening to somehow justify what you really cannot. You are very young, that is evident, there is no way you can comprehend what the true issues are around this. They are much deeper than a mascot.

Um, can I ask you one thing, are you black, Latino, American Indian, Asian, or of any sort of European(not any thing of heredity)?
