Actually.. that is not the whole story, according to many. While it is true that the fascist regime and Franco himself probably had a deep involvement in that, just as the Catholic church, there are many allegations about the whole thing -which involved hundreds of doctors, nuns/nurses, priests, etc... throughout Spain- that were in that filthy business basically for the money because, you know, they didn't exactly give them away for free.

@dirtybunny987 way to go. So, by the same logic, anyone who's not an American could say... "9-11. It happened a long time ago (more than 10 years ago, at least) in another country. Who cares?".
