E is using the iPad with a beginning AAC app called iComm to help her learn to communicate through pictures. E has hydrocephalus, cerebral palsy, seizure disorder and CVI. She is looking at a picture of her toy lady bug on the screen then her real toy lady bug is sitting to her right. This is the first time I have seen her fixate on a picture and then look at the object. .Her sister is helping her point but her recognizing a picture and the object was the goal. We are using the iPad to try and promote development for babies with disabilities. http://babieswithipads.blogspot.com/
