Skip backwards in time to April, 2010... Shortly after composing a full length song I deemed so lyrically trite I could no longer bear singing it I experienced much shame and frustration. The guitar melody was rather beautiful and I still wish to set new lyrics to it's graceful notes. Amidst my moping a new creative fire was already swirling in my chest. I knew the fiery feeling was my soul's desire to prove I was still a valuable artist. So... out burst a wildly captivating melody and very heartfelt set of lyrics! And that is the story of how I came to write "Sea Stars". Since writing this song I have practiced it so many times I have lost count and as winter passed and spring arrived it has matured beautifully.
