Ok, this is a continuation from my blogs and journals.
Ok... I get asked these things FAR too often. I will do this once, so pay attention.
When I wash my hair I use "Herbal Essences" -Dangerously Straight- Conditioner or shampoo and if I decide to use the dangerously straight conditioner, I will use Hello Hydration for the shampoo. So I don't use dangerously straight shampoo and conditioner at the same time. http://www.herbalessences.com/us/collections/dangerously_straight/default.jsp
When I get out of the shower, I towel dry my hair, taking the towel and wrapping it around the back of my head and pulling it forward, twisting it and prop it on my head for a few minutes. After no more water is dripping from it, I take "Chi" Straight guard ( http://www.folica.com/CHI_Straight_Gu_d2301.html ) Looks like lotion when it comes out and I get about as much shampoo as you're supposed to use and evenly spread it through my hair.
Then I Blow Dry it. Doesn't matter the blow dryer, but it is important to blow dry it.
After hair is COMPLETELY dry, I take a tiny bit of "Chi" Silk infusion (http://www.folica.com/CHI_Silk_Infusi_d2300.html) And smooth it over my hands, like you would with lotion, and then rub it evenly on my hair, taking strands through my fingers so any silk infusion stuck there goes in my hair.
Now the last part is important, I have naturally curly hair so I have to use a straightener. And it is better to have an expensive high quality straightener. Chi sells REALLY good ones, but they are also expensive. ( http://www.folica.com/Chi_Flat_I_317_1.html ) But I use this one ( http://www.folica.com/_Hot_Tools_1__C_d1310.html )
and if you want the back of your hair to stick up like mine, when straightening, don't make the iron go over all the hair, leave like 2 cm away from the root untouched by the straightener, so it gives it volume.
--------------------------------------
Take styling wax, because if you have naturally curly hair, wax keeps it dry and will allow it to go straight. Put wax in your hand and rub until all wax is translucent and there are no clumps, grab at your hair and spread it evenly through your hair.
After that's done and your hair is where you want it, take hair spray with a lot of hold and spray hair so it stays in place, otherwise, you will have to keep messing with your hair through the day.

Is your hair or thin? If it's thinner, try to be careful with the heat from the flat iron. The best flat irons out in the market are actually not sold in America. You have to look for 100 percent ceramic flat irons to give you the most shine and the least amount of damage.
Also I noticed you hair looks a bit oily in some of your videos. This is probably due to using excessive product which can weigh your hair down and make it feel heavy. use too little, then work from there

Because... in all the older videos, I didn't use product. And my straightener is ceramic. I'm good. Don't worry.
