Bulletstorm with the Razer Hydra

"Sixense" made a unique praiseworthy invention, but "Razer" made a troublesome cheaply-built end product.
LT trigger is stuck!
I bought my Razer Hydra the day before yesterday and I don't recommend it for its faultiness. Too many people are complaining about many issues ranging from cursor "Jitter" to sticking triggers.
Jitter can be due to other electronic devices - producing electromagnetic field - placed too close to the base station or keeping the controllers far away from the base.

The problem with controllers is that you can only play the games where precision doesn't matter that much, like Bulletstorm / Serious Sam / etc. All online games are excluded of course, I don't know if it is possible, but if you would try playing BF3 with the 360 controller on the PC you will get owned by all other players who use mouse & keyboard, regardless of your\their skill.

Looks complicated

First off i know you are the demo guy, but you played way too much bullet storm with that thing. Second rip off wii much?

This controller is more "natural" than mouse+keyboard. If there were games where you could shoot from 2 hands in different direction and different time, this controller would fit perfect. I want one at least just to play first Call of Juarez game :D

Trust me, I have played on a controller and M/K. Obviously, M/K is easier. But it got too easy I dumped my game in less than 3 days. I always had that challenging and fun feeling with these controllers. I want a challenge, not a piece of cake. I would rather amputate my both arms and play this game on the highest difficulty. Like playing a guitar with the hardest song ever to be mastered. That's the reason why I choose this over the M/K.

Fancy shmancy controls are one thing and the wow factor, but I would rather a mouse. Nothing can beat a mouse in terms of precision. Razer are the number one company for making overpriced and poor quality (I fell for their ploy) peripherals aimed at the fickly 'hardcore gaming' crowd. Their products are so inferior to Logitech etc it's not even funny.

What i REALLY want to know is HOW WELL does this thing do 180 movement.
How fast is it if you need to turn around 180-360.
I would like to see a video on how quick this is doing a full circle since there's lots of times i do 180's in an FPS game.
THX:)

@FirestormInfinity Absolutely.
I like the way this works, but it seems the magnetic range is a bit short.
I have gotten suckered into much worse peripherals like the "P5 glove & Sidewinder Dual Strike (2000)"
Hydra seems to have more support then P5 glove, probably easier to get used & more responsive then the Sidewinder Dual Strike was.
I want this hydra, not sure if i should wait for a "Hydra+" edition, razer is known for coming back with + models.
@bokthaku I bet decades ago the mouse was a gimmick xD
Constant innovation is what progresses technology. Technology isnt advanced by magical breakthroughs, but thousands of small innovations which lead up to the breakthrough.
