  • This is my favorite part of the whole movie. PhantomReviewer called it silly; I can't see how he can think that. It's so passionate. I can't understand the words or the subtitles, but the emotion shines through so perfectly. Whoever does the singing for Teri Polo and Charles Dance, bravo! The Phantom's voice especially is gorgeous!

The only thing is, I kind of feel bad for the guy playing Faust. He got his role stolen! You can see him in the background mouthing the words, poor guy, lol.

  • SUPERB, Devil or Angel, Faust Duet !! Take a bow Teri Polo & `Singing Phantom` Charles Dance. BRAVO!!

  • esta es la mejor version sin duda alguna la vi hace muchos años y encontrarla aqui es lo mejor que me ha pasado quien la ve se enamorara de ella

  • Does anyone know where I could find the lyrics to this song (non translated version)?

  • My favorite scene from this version. What a duet! Beautiful voices. It really makes a difference when the Phantom can actually sing! The best thing about it, for me at least, though, is that at the end the public gives them a standing ovation. And they're looking up at Box 5! They're applauding not just Christine, but the two of them! *Finally* he gets the recognition he deserves as the genius he is! Or a little bit, at least. So moving. Wonderful scene.

  • loved it :)

  • Dios! Me he enamorado de la ópera!

  • I have a copy of this miniseries on cassette -- gonna have to dig it out and watch it again. I think it is an outstanding version of the story. It was originally aired on A & E.

  • Maurgurite is about to be executed for murdering her (and Faust's) illegitimate child. The last bit of the trio, Margurite is calling on God and the Angels to protect her and deliver her soul to heaven; Faust (Erik) is asking her to run away with him before she's executed. It's not terribly romantic as it goes, and it ends badly for all involved: Faust is dragged to hell, Margurite is executed and ascends to heaven as a choir of angels sing "Christ est ressuscite."

  • I can sit and listen to this song for hours.. Which I am doing right now...

  • I've got this on dvd and when i put either the english or korean subs on, they don't come on during the songs! It's so annoying! I would like to know whatn they're both singing here.

  • I love Philippe's face. He's like "I can't make her sing like that."
