Amazingly repulsive, yet 3 simple mirrors just create symmetrical optical geometry. A shining jewel ...made of hairy damp pulsing FLESH. More construction details at http://amasci.com/amateur/dscope.html

  • dude when he said, "how biological?" i swear i thought he was going to put his dick in it lol

  • @XxpivotxxmasterxX Ancient comedy technique: it might be funny to expose your private parts, but it's way funnier if you scam your audience into *knowing* you're going to expose your private parts ...then suddenly YOU DON'T!

Also ...someone in the Catskills NY built one of these in an old grain silo. It's three stories tall, with a video screen up in the narrow end. You lie on your back in the wide end. See bit.ly / cW5cEJ

  • no existe es mas viejo esto, jajaja

  • incredible!

  • 1:48 to 3:04 is like a drug trip /=

  • @schmidtbag SCIENCE: actually being right. EVERYTHING ELSE: winning and losing a 'fight.' In law, politics, and especially online comment-wars you can lose the battle yet actually be correct.

Said another way: heavy use of logical fallacies such as Ad hominem and Poisoning the Well, that's a primary symptom of pseudoscience.

Use of derogatory labels reflects badly on the labeler. But only in nonscientific debate, where the goal is to "win," and who cares which side is actually right.

  • @vancouverizer this one is part of a high-traffic website, and most of that traffic comes from Stumbleupon. If they only exist on youtube, I find that they receive 100X, 1000X fewer views.

So it's not youtube that does it. You have to get linked by Stumbleupon, Reddit, cracked.com

  • if only this man was related to me somehow...

  • @wbeaty at a glance, yes, but that isn't exactly true. in a debate, you could actually be the correct one (or the "winner"). but once you use ad hominem to deliberately insult someone instead of using constructive criticism, your opinion basically becomes ignored to the opposing party, therefore making you SEEM like the loser. glutinousmaximus may have had constructive criticism until he claimed all your methods were unscientific, which changed his entire tone.

  • @schmidtbag There aren't any 60deg angles in the first place. glutinousmaximus is simply a troll, or "hater," or "flamer." Youtube is filled with millions of them. But in any moderated intellectual debate, the first one to use ad hominem ...loses.

  • @glutinousmaximus not all science is based on 100% accuracy. in fact in many forms of physics it is considered unnecessary and/or unproductive to base everything on complete accuracy. what wbeaty showed in this video was clearly accurate enough, as the intended effect was successful. sometimes he just creates stuff to be fun, not specifically scientific. i wouldn't be complaining about your comment if you weren't being a dick about in the end

  • @glutinousmaximus Read the main website? No 60deg angles in the first place.

"As always, your methods are unscientific."

Bordering on personal insult. Do you read youtube captions? Do you know what Trolling is?
