The Tennessee Renaissance Festival - May 17, 2009 (Pirate Invasion weekend).
About the Acts (in order of appearance):
-Porter & Stout: Music, plunder, and really bad eggs. These two pirates are taking a break from the High Seas to bring you shanties, drinking songs, and even the occasional ballad. Music and comedy for all.
-The Human Chess Match: For the entertainment of the Queen and villages alike, kings and pawns compete in a game of Human chess.
-Birds of the Gauntlet: Master Falconer, Kitty Tolson-Caroll, brings her beautiful and fascinating birds of prey to educate and entertain you. See winged predators swoop in at dazzling speeds to capture food from Kitty's hand.
-Axel the Sot: Straight from the Poop Deck, this seafaring minstrel sings bawdy songs, and tells naughty jokes and stories that make the audience blush.
-Paolo Garbanzo: Blending comedy and amazing juggling into a show of death-defying skill, Paolo's supremacy over the laws of physics is not to be challenged!

3:18 -- Wow, I made this video, double checked it before uploading, and even watched it a few times after uploading it to show other people. Out of all the times I watched it, I *just* now (July 4th, 2009) noticed the typo I made. I meant to put "light beer" not "beer light" obviously. I'm dyslexic.
Where are the trolls???

I only saw one troll, but I didn't get any video of him :( He was hilarious though.

Anyway, what is this Renaissance Festival about? Does it have to do with Middle-Earth?? Or Middle-Ages?? :)

Middle ages. It's kind of like going back in time. Everybody who works there is dressed and acts like they did back during the Renaissance. Even most of the food is like stuff they'd have eaten back then (only more modern - and better haha). There are unrealistic things to, like faeries who run around, and the troll. You can also buy a lot of souvenirs and watch a lot of performances and do things like archery and knife throwing. It's really a lot of fun.

It's really amazing, trying to see and feel how middle ages were, as these ages had something beautiful. I 've heard that these conventions happen to many states. Although, mythical creatures that don't exist like faeries and trolls sound a bit weird! :)

Yeah, you might be able to find one in your state. Or you can just come to mine! :P But yeah, the mythical creatures are still cool; they ALWAYS stay in character. Actually, it is a bit weird. haha
