why didnt he have exaust pipes running through the hood, wouldn't the inside of the compartment melt :P

@BikerRussell Valves would get burned and chip because the manifold acts like a heatsink, sucking the heat away if you will. Besides a few valves chipped or breaking from overheating would destroy the pistons, and possibly the block.

@jponsler Firstly, wy would the valves get burned?
Secondly, by the looks of how the guy takes care of the engine, do you really think he would care about a few valves?
