We were doing cane-on-head in the '70s. We actually did floorwork while balancing the cane. Somewhere along the line, somebody decided that the only things that go on the head are tea trays, swords, and candelabra. Nowadays, canes just seem to be waved around. But balancing a cane is HARDER than all that other stuff, because it's lighter, and rolls! I'm glad to see that it may be coming back.
