Jean Luc Godard & Anna Karina starring at Agnes Varda's film Cleo de 5 a 7 (Cleo from 5 to 7) 1961. It is a short comedy-romance drama in the film seen by the main character in a theatre.
It is really interesting especially if you know Godard, who is usually very cool. It's a big contrast!
There is a word said by him in the drama,"My glasses made everything look black." And at last he threw the "damned dark sunglasses". This character is really suit him!

  • I didn't think so deeply. But as you see in the short film, even if Anna's face is like a black person, she still attracts Godard. So I didn't think there is any meaning about Racist. The only way I can explain is that it may be just a sculpt that makes the two Anna different from each other.

  • I love this movie, and this short film is funny!

Damn Godard, he should have thrown these sunglasses a long time ago and forever...

  • Godard!YEAH!Godard!

  • Sometimes racism is about the observer and the subjetive interpretation of things that the author never intended to express
