@phoneymcphone its one of the rules. if someone crashes before the first obstacle they have to restart.

@phoneymcphone 4 riders down before the first obstacle = restart in the aba. Not sure about other sanctions though.

Why do you restart? Crashing's just a part of racing so surely you'd just keep going?
