  • Pansies are a cool weather plant that does best when the temperatures are below 70 degree F. I would only plant them in Mexico if you live in high elevations.

  • Pansies can usually survive the winters in southern Missouri, but they hate the heat and usually don't make it through the summers. We nearly all the pansies we grow in the fall.

  • state of Maine where i grew up they were perenials Missouri where i live now they are annuals
