Les Miserables: The 10th Anniversary Dream Cast in Concert at London's Royal Albert Hall (1995)
On my own as sung by the character Eponine fantastically played by the Filipina Broadway star Miss LEA SALONGA.

Incidentally, for GLEE fans out there, here's a trivia for you: (young) Eponine was the first Broadway role Lea Michele played when she was 8 years old. Two great Leas, both from Les Mis. :)

Even though I don't disregard the talent of the Eponine in the 25th anniversary, I still believe that Lea Salonga is preferable. I personally like her tone better, and Eponine in the 25th can't hit some of the lowest notes as well. I just love Lea Salonga. Besides, she was the singing voice of Jasmine and Mulan. :D

I agree with most of what you said and i absolutely adore lea, but i'm sure she does not have a vocal range of eight octaves. XD

Personally, I've always loved Lea's rendition more than any other singer's version. I've seen the 2012 film and I loved Samantha's but I just love this one more. :3

Lea Salonga is a legend. Singing with the likes of Ben Kingsley, Julie Andrews in the King and I and playing the roles such as Kim (Miss Saigon), Eponine, Fantine, the singing voices of Mulan and Jasmine. She also has a vocal range of eight octaves. Now that is talent. Not only that, she has now been acknowledged as a Disney Legend. Frankly, she is the best singer ever from the Philippines.
