  • did u cook it on low, med, or high heat?

  • @aishoooo : The pressure cooker is always on a med-high and then allow it to whistle once and turn off the flame .... :)

  • @JamilaHossain : Asafoetida (Hing) has a very distinct flavor and is there more for digestion that anything else. If you can't find it, feel free to skip it.

    Khichadi is meant to be a light meal. Channa daal can be used but it will make the dish very heavy.
