I'm playing a bunch of Slayer songs (Show No Mercy album) with my Jackson King V KV2 guitar and Line 6 amplifier (built-in Insane distortion mode). The guitar features an original Floyd Rose tremolo and Seymour Duncan pickups (JB TB-4 bridge / JB SH-4 neck). This is my a tribute to Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman.

My medley includes all songs from the album:

1. Evil Has No Boundaries
2. The Antichrist
3. Die By The Sword
4. Fight Till Death
5. Metal Storm/Face The Slayer
6. Black Magic
7. Tormentor
8. The Final Command
9. Crionics
10. Show No Mercy

  • Damn you can pick fast dude. And you lay your pinky on the body of the guitar when you pick too, a lot of people say that "inhibits" your learning and speed. I've always disagreed with it and you prove me right lol 5/5

  • be in my band k?

  • It s Cool!! you are god of the guitar!!

  • jackson kerry king V!

  • Thatwas great. First song I learned to play was Black Magic, it taught me how to be in timing with all the notes.

  • DIE BY THE SWORD!

  • dude tht was epic but i dont think your playing evil has no boudries main riff right.

  • @sherman614 I started with a fender strat, and since the volume knob is so close to the strings, I've grown used to keeping my hand in a half fist

  • you have some good chops and I like your picking technique. thrash is supposed to be played agressively. IMO you really should work on your timing though. The fight till death riff was totally off.

  • Exactly man!

And a lot of other guitarist I've noticed. Like the guitarist for Killswitch engage, he's fast as hell and plays like that. Heck I'm somewhat fast myself and i have the same habit. I think it's whatever is comfortable, there is no one sure fire way to do one thing.

  • great my favorite medley video
