Slayer - Show No Mercy Medley - Jackson King V w/ Floyd Rose & Seymour Duncans

I'm playing a bunch of Slayer songs (Show No Mercy album) with my Jackson King V KV2 guitar and Line 6 amplifier (built-in Insane distortion mode). The guitar features an original Floyd Rose tremolo and Seymour Duncan pickups (JB TB-4 bridge / JB SH-4 neck). This is my a tribute to Kerry King and Jeff Hanneman.

Damn you can pick fast dude. And you lay your pinky on the body of the guitar when you pick too, a lot of people say that "inhibits" your learning and speed. I've always disagreed with it and you prove me right lol 5/5

@sherman614 I started with a fender strat, and since the volume knob is so close to the strings, I've grown used to keeping my hand in a half fist

you have some good chops and I like your picking technique. thrash is supposed to be played agressively. IMO you really should work on your timing though. The fight till death riff was totally off.

Exactly man!

And a lot of other guitarist I've noticed. Like the guitarist for Killswitch engage, he's fast as hell and plays like that. Heck I'm somewhat fast myself and i have the same habit. I think it's whatever is comfortable, there is no one sure fire way to do one thing.
