@ahsrock1982......Being an African American....every thing in this country is NOT EQUAL...even with a black president...there are still issues of race that need to be dealt with...just becuse sports and enetrtainment are inundated with African Americans does not make things equal...we still have a long way to go. Comments like "strung up on slavery" make me think what you really think about the plight of African Americans.

I agree with about 85% of your commentary. I commend you on your insight regarding a potentially explosive subject. However, I do feel that if the situation was reversed, and Garth Brooks snatched the microphone from Beyonce and started ranting about Taylor Swift having the best video, Jesse Jackson and the NAACP would be beating down his door and screaming racism to the world or at least anyone who would listen. Would you agree?

I guess it just seems like if the roles were reversed and a white guy came on stage ripped the mic from Beyonce and said Taylor Swift had the greatest video of all time, there'd be a lot of black folk saying that it's racist. Maybe this is a good time for everybody to cool their jets and stop looking at everything as be racial.

@bigddonblack You'll never be able to make everything completely equal or fair.. if it isn't black people it will be fat people.. or bald people.. or people with six fingers on one hand. To make everything "equal" for one group, usually means unbalancing something having to do with another.

You'll never even get close as long as people harp on it instead of moving on and focusing on their own shit.
