I remember, I've heard you play it the day you added this video. It was the worst day of my life, and somehow you created a little sunshine. Forgot to think you last time.

Of all the "brothers" piano clips on youtube, this was the best in my opinion
It's quite good but... how can I say it. It's a bit dull... somewhat flat sounding. The notes are all right on, but there's a complete lack of any sort of any sort of crescendos or decrescendo. Try adding some of those end there, if only to the end of phrases. The song is supposed to be really emotional, and notes without any volume change just don't bring across that feeling.

Yah, the translation of dynamics over to YouTube really sucked with this video. I'm pretty sure it's the $20 camera I was using to record (cheap cameras really aren't meant to make professional recordings). Once I get a decent camera, I'm going to try patching the audio direct from the piano back into the computer - should allow for better sounding dynamics in the finished product, and no background noise since I'll be eliminating the microphone.

Great job. Dynamics and timing are good, though, it might be a good idea to listen to the song a few more times. Most of the notes are straight eights or quarters. You seemed to add a little... to put it simply Jazz to it. Sounds good, but if you're looking to get it as similar to the original piece as possible, I'd suggest listening to this and matching it up with the original. Also seemed to be missing a note in the left hand... Other than that, good job :)

Thanks for the feedback :) It's actually based off a version that Vic Mignogna (Edward Elric in the Funimation Sub) did as a fan thing. That may account for some of the timing oddities you're hearing. It could also be the really _really_ cheap camera that I used to record it. Funimation asked that he take his version down, and he has. (As a side note, I'm not sure how healthy it would be to listen to this song more than I already do lol :) )

it's nice but is it the original version?

Thanks :)
As far as it being "The Original Version", I'm not quite sure what you mean. It's the version that's used in the show quite frequently and it's the one that Vic Mignogna recorded in English. At least it's as close to that version as I could get from playing it out by ear ;)
