RAIDERS CONQUER ST. JEROME - ONTO THE CHAMPIONSHIP!

The Rosemere Raiders are off to the regional finals for the second consecutive season after a 68-16 beat down of Ecole Polyvalente des Haut-Sommets Conquerants. The 68 points scored are a team record. Being cheered on by Raider Nation and the school band, the undefeated Raiders dominated from start to finish.

For the second time this year, Jason Azzoparde threw 7 touchdown passes, 4 going to Joseph Cecere. Other touchdown scores came from Jordan Beaulieu, Sebastien Methot and Derek Leveille.

The offense also converted 7 of 9 two point converts, including the first reception for Dennie Nyguen, who also had an interception on defense.

The defense was stellar in the semi-final match up limiting the Conquerants offence to 2 scores. Tristan Jomphe-Lartigue, Brandon Recine and Paolo Riccardi led the way, but it was a collective effort from the D that did the job.

The finals pits the same finalists from last season, as the Raiders seek to take away the championship title from the Lavigne Inuk.

Lol, I remember that game, I was number 53 of Hauts-Sommets... Lawl, you didn't put the part where our 21 ( I think, not sure) totally owned one of your guy and sended him to hospital :D The game was stopped for half-an-hour... You guy were so angry! Ah good times, well it was a fun games... Btw how he going?(the guy who was hurt)

The guy who hurted him is know here to be violent.

@JesusSandal: well actually the "big hit" that sent our player to the hospital wasn't a legitimate hit

he head-butted him in the neck after the whistle was blown

thats pretty low man, and plus the kid that got hurt was in secondary 2

and he was alright the next day, all the tests were negative and he returned to practice the following week
