@vdclinic Jews can be racist or offensive aboiut other religions. Do you not know the story of Jesus Christ? Jesus was Jewish, though he considered himself Christian.

@bnp65 . . . can spend 2000 quid on a (then) state of the art TV, yet the OAPs, on the state pension, struggle to even buy a cheap radio. It's on the right in "Alf Garnett goes to the electrical shop"

@bnp65 In one clip on this site, he rants about the DHSS not saving his legs by giving his wife an electric wheelchair. the in the episode where he attends her funeral, he complains that even though she would have left him money, she didn't because the government took all that money back off her.
And the best, I think, is when he's in Currys looking for a cheap radio for when he's bedridden with the cold, and he complains about it being an unfair society when people with more money than sense

@bnp65 Judging by your username, I think you're probably not going agree with my point about his racist remarks and sexist, misogynistic attitudes, which genuinely were supposed to be satirical, but there were some points of his that I have to agree with.
Often, he did show his disdain for the government, especially in In Sickness . . . for example, now that he was retired, the DHSS was his main gripe.
