At this point, ANY democrat would be a worthwhile primary candidate. Obama is out to destroy the New Deal/Great Society programs for the simple reason that he does NOT believe that they work. He said it in his own books and countless speeches.  Obama always intended to dismantle SS and it was the primary reason that Paul Krugman did not support him during the primaries, instead arguing strongly for Hillary Clinton. Now we liberals have the proof from Obama's own deeds.
