On January 19th the Cardinal of Naples will participate in a round table at CUNY Graduate Center entitled "Human Migrations in the Third Millennium. Italy from Land of Departure to Land of Arrival—Lessons from the American Experience." Once a land of mass emigration, Italy has now become a land of arrival for migrants from around the world, and as such faces new challenges. What can it learn from its own history of emigration, and in particular to the United States?
