Tokkie se strykorkes ~ Swellendam

Februari 2009 kuier ons in Swellendam. By die Drosdy kry ons hierie drie mans wat hulle opwindende jazzy soort van musiek maak. Tradisionele Afrikaanse wysies, 'n Hollandse liedjie en hierdie wysie wat ek dink is Amerikaans, maar ek onthou ongelukkig nie nou sy naam nie. Enigiemand wat weet is welkom om kommentaar te gee

Ze noemen het een strijkorkestje maar dé ster is voor mij die ene saxofoonspeler. In Zuid-Afrika heeft "tokkie" niet de bijbetekenis die het de afgelopen twee-drie jaar in het Nederlands heeft gekregen!

Bei einem Besuch an der berühmten holländischen Drostei in Swellendam [Süd-Afrika] trafen wir auf diese drei Herren die sich "Tokkie's Streichorkester" nennen.
Außer holländischen und afrikaansen Lieder enthält ihr Repertoire auch diesen Amerikanischen Song, dessen Name mir gerade nicht einfallen will.
