Yes, the model is that of and XM8. I don't remember if I used the XM8 or the Crysis Scar rifle for Gmod.

No, It is restricted to Gmod 10/11/ Whatever version is current, and I don't believe that Xystus (the guy who made this) would take the time to recode this for Gmod 9, and it is impossible to do for Smod Tactical. If you want this just buy Gmod 10. Its only $10 USD on Steam
