This is a commercial-variety of the Cadet circa the mid-80s as the 'mouth' design in the bowl and the tank design changed. From what I can see on the outside, they had slightly changed the trapway configuration as well. But this was a 3.5 gpf flusher. This video is from 2004.

  • Why does water flush clockwise? Perhaps its course of direction is determined by gravity and magnetic poles.

  • It is, and in the southern hemisphere, water will naturally rotate the other way. It actually is clockwise in the s.h. and counter-clockwise in the n.h. Also, the rim jets are angled the appropriate direction for where the toilet will be installed.

  • i wouldnt be surprised if that toilet clogs alot. thats the kind where you look around the bathroom for the plunger and pray that it goes down.

  • Actually, I've run into quite a few of these and they are actually pretty awesome. Never seen one clog before, but that's just my experience :)
