The following is an email from an Acre of Diamonds man giving insight on the subject of Jezebel. 2 Samuel 12:13 And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against Jehovah. His house, his seed suffered because of his sin. These women have put their seed in jeopardy by their rebellion. Also within the story of David and Bathsheba is the story of Jezebel. There is no account of Bathsheba saying, "no, no, I am a married woman". She seems to be complicit and accommodating to David's sin. Was she rebellious herself to begin with? Secondly, I was to have my wife look up the word "despise" in the dictionary. I had no idea that that word despise was the very word the Lord used against David. 2 Samuel 12:9 Wherefore hast thou despised the word of Jehovah, to do that which is evil in his sight? thou hast smitten Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon. 2 Samuel 12:10 Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thy house, because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.
