So hard to believe that moving out the projects would save her $400 a month. 12x400 is an incredible sum x ten years OMG $48K people you have got to look at the big picture. RENT is modern day SLAVERY ! Where I live a person can OWN a place for under $700 easy you need a car though but if you get your ducks in a row you can get a place and be out the RAT race. Man this is a tough film to watch knowing what I know so tough to watch.
@eshiveley 4 years old OMG I just watched this on NETFLICKS and I too was weeping at the films end. We take so much for granted in this world I was blessed to get into a home 10 years ago we have worked every step of the way every cent went in the right direction and we paid every debt we had down to the student loans. We don't have as nice a house as most but we sleep very well at night knowing that anything from now on is just an expense not a problem. A must see film.
this a fantastic movie. i just saw it as part of "Hope Week" for a homeless shelter. the planned movie didn't show up, so we watched "Home." it blew everyone away.
