with Ja Rule for the "I'm real" remix which resembles Mariah's "If We" ft. Ja Rule on the Glitter soundtrack. No wonder Mariah was pissed for others taking credit for her ideas. Mariah is a singer, songwriter, composer, true ARTIST. The GLITTER soundtrack with it's refreshing 80's vibe deserves much more recognition and credit than it's gotten. To me it's some of MC's best work of this decade. The movie was a mess, and because of this the soundtrack didn't even get a fair chance IMO.

The part where Da Brat is rappin (03 :30) and on was actually a Jlo diss because of Jlo and Tommy Motolla stealing the sample of a Japanese song that had never been sampled before MC did and was originally on this Mariah song, and used it for Jlo's original version of I'm real. You even hear the beat Da Brat is rapping in equals the sound in Jlo's I'm real ( original version) That's why Mariah changed hers to this version which samples Cameo's "Candy" Then they went on and recorded a remix ...
