Twilight is a story pretty much about a choice between Mr. Muscle and Mr. Money, Harry Potter is a story (even if you take the magic out) about betrayal, friendship, good vs. evil, love, hate, revenge, rebel. etc.

Stephen King doesn't like Twilight which is proof enough. :/
