Great commercial. Obviously aimed at kids not old people. I think if Empire is so concerned about people's cultural well being they should not show all those horror movies. It's kinda lame to just say well "movie goers can choose".
There are a couple things that you should have thought of. 1. Movie goers choose what movie they want to see. They can't choose the ads that they are forced to watch before a movie starts. 2. When Empire sees this video, they may think twice about accepting any more ads from Mac's in the future. I doubt they will take too kindly to this tactic.
I bet Mac's isn't happy about this, I wouldn't be. Your actions reflect on your client ... or possibly ex-client?? Good luck with that.
The burping is actually the best part of the commercial! And yeah, even better in Dolby at the iMax! It was a toss up between the burping and the Japanese schoolgirl cheerleaders screaming "Suck the Froster Up".
This commercial was "banned" by Lowes Cineplex because no one wants to hear someone burping at 77 decibals in Dolby Matrix 6.1, not because of its un-family values. Nobody cares though, because no one watches these anyway.
You believe that freedom of choice is lame? Not too bright eh?

The other commercial that ran in its place replaced "STFU" with a giant "SUCK". But that seemed to be okay? Very strange...
