  • Hey Brett,

What camera mount are you using?

And it looks like you have a wide angle lens...?

    The footage came out great!

  • It was a GoPro Hero HD, which has a wide angle lens.

  • Hi,

Just curious what length hang strap you use with you Matrix?

  • It's a 48 inch harness main... lower than Jonny's, about the same as Kraig's, higher than Gerolf's (49"). It looks high at times in the video but that's an illusion; I flew with a 49" for a season but it killed my shoulders and elbows. A 49" harness main is shown in the title block of my blog.

  • Gotcha, your runnning a bolt in main.... I just got a Matrix and was trying to figure out what length hang strap I needed.

You look like the right hieght to me.

    Thanks.

  • 35 inch is stock, 39 inch should give you a similar drop to a 48 inch integral main... about a 2 inch drop.

  • A Question from Austria:

You are also filming with the GoProHD. But to you use the settings: 4-4 or the biggest one 5-5 full HD? I hope you find the time to answer. Greets matze

  • Hi Brett

Nice video. Hope you can make next year (November 1,2,3 to the Canoa Race down here in Ecuador! Craig was here but couldn't take on the undefeated strike from Dustin.
