lol thats a military plane that there testing, we have 3 airbases here and they test new projects all the time. i recognize the sound from the sound that comes from reconnasince aircraft, this is that.

Thats probably a UAV. USAF and USN test things like that in Fresno and in Central CA. Why? because there's nothing to hit and land for air bases is cheap.

It's a helicopter but sounds a bit like a small plane engine. It's definately gas powered engine and the lights are FFA style. The FAA must certify all experimentals and tests air worthiness before they will issue a certificate or license. Light patterns indicate FAA registered aircraft.
