The summer is over. The conflict revs into overdrive. As a responsible citizen I ask that we all attempt to engage in critical debate, leaning into POSITIVE conflict, free of hate, rancor, and vitriol. The goal, pass healthcare reform that WE, not the politicians, can all believe in. We need health care reform, and we need it NOW!

We Need A Public Option Plan!

In the comment section of my profile I have links to the bill (ez and long versions) as well as the answers to many of the most commonly asked questions regarding the public option. I also have several ways in which you can become more involved. What I don't have are scare tactics.

When will you people understand that "death panels" is politically purpose built phrase to convey the true meaning of these so called "Advisory Panels" which are really comprised of a bunch of government accountants looking out for a bottom line. As of now MediCare denies more claims than any insurance providers, both in numbers and rates.

Moving along, a "factual basis" would concern the fact that we simply cannot afford the current 2,074+ page of poor care and government spending.

The federal Reserve banking is the reason for the rising cost in healthcare thanks to hyperinfation and the increase in cash. Were printing so much money every day. We cant afford healthcare and we dont need it.
