This is the first of three installments of Ted Bundy's final interview with Bob Keppel in January of 1989 just hours before he was executed. Detectives have kept these tapes sealed for 16 years, claiming the details are too disturbing.

  • anybody else hear that very low, spooky soundtrack in the background? almost too low to hear, but i think you acknowledge it subconsciously. sounds like some kind of low sonorous synthesizer.

  • Any feelings evoked put aside, these videos are an education. After all the pleas of innocence and the subsequent finger-pointing washed away, and nearing the hour of death, this is what remained: A desperate attempt at escaping the electric chair with the last card up his sleeve—honesty. You will never hear Ted be more honest than here, both about what he did, and how he feels (or rather, doesn't) about it.

  • stfu troll. do you get on all the vids and say that

  • @panpanpan27 you have a small penis, dont lie..

  • @DREwestcoast i agree

  • i have weard feling and thorts iv made a mask but dont know who to kill

  • @stayneknaveofhearts you make me physically sick, fucktard

  • @TheMotorCity2011 even though they're just as much a part of human nature as you, me or any of his victims? I don't condone what he did but I'm 1000 miles past retribution, ted bundy is just a name, a number, tomorrow they'll showcase another serial killer on the news and you'll revert back to your hating mode, I just find it kind of pathetic and useless.

  • @greeceed: "Bunch of amateurs." And I take it you are a highly experienced criminal profiler??? (sarcasm). Your arrogance aside, Keppel (the interviewer) admitted that he did not get much useful info out of Bundy b/c most of the time he was lying and manipulating in order to get what he wanted. Obviously understanding the killer is important, but it is still valid to say that the victims often get lost in the discussion. We forget how this killer obsession of ours must impact the victims.

  • Psychopathy + dysfunction in serotonin = big trouble

  • when he starts to whisper, i get the chills. such an interesting yet different man.
