im going to amsterdam at the end of this week through next week. ( yay amsterdam in january ) is there anything really fun to do in amsterdam in january other than museums? how crowded are the museums in january?

I found the museums to be very un-crowded so you should really be able to enjoy them. Also, you should do a tour of the city on the canal...if there isn't a lot of snow and ice, it's a pretty excursion. And of course the restaurant/bar scene is lots of fun. Try a restaurant called Momo, one of my favorites.
