YEAH TAKE THIS ONE DOWN TOO YOU MONEYHUNGER !@#$%&

I don't mind stealing bread
From the mouths of decadence
But I can't feed on the powerless
When my cup's already overfilled
But it's on the table
The fire is cooking
And their farming babies
When the slaves are working
The blood is on the table
And their mouths are choking
But I'm growing hungry

Temple of the Dog - Hunger Strike

  • The lyrics, I belive, aren't "I'm growing hungry" but "I'm going hungry" it's what it sounds like to me and other lyrics sites, and it fits the concept of a hunger strike.

  • Got the lyrics off the liner notes and it says growing.

  • does any one know where or if I can find the video of hungerstrike on youtube with the pic at 1:48-2:04? I saw a peice of it on pearl jam twenty and I was going to try and see if I could find the whole vid on youtube looked like it was tons of fun with the little clip I saw of it!!

  • LMAO! @ 2:07!

  • Bring songs like this back to the radio, instead of soulja bitch.

  • The photos at 2:10 and 2:42 where are they from??

  • @Lekter maybe your notes are dirty or something :)) bet it's "going" not "growing". bottom line is it just sounds that way

  • you got no clue, members of SoundGarden and Pearl Jam got together to do this tribute to a friend who died. This is all human!

  • @MShepherd88 there's still no musicianship. there's a machine with a basic drum & bass beat, and a guy basically doing a spoken word performance.

  • @ledZeppelin7680 There's actually a lot of great underground rap, it's just not what's played on the radio. I used to think the same thing about the whole genre, but after finding the artists I listen to now, that has changed completely.

  • he seriously was n a hunger strike at 0:35 pic
