  • dude, where running win 7, not a 10 year old shizznet

  • @gamerdragon89 The procedure is the same. In fact the steps are independent of the version of windows ur using; it only depends on the version of VLC player as the previous versions had a different GUI....hope this helps..The screen-cast was shot with windows XP for the only reason that it was the most widely used at that time....

  • 0.23 wats is that ?

  • @thoto202 That box is Start>Run

  • VLC is unable to open the MRL 'udp://@192.168.1.103:1234'. Check the log for details. Help? :(

vista was a fail and anybody who actually cared about compatibility and reliability either reverted back to xp or sp3 for xp. Just because vista was out does not mean that capable pc users used it...

  • Thank you! Good job! I would like to know how to stream video and audio from VLC to a set-top uPNP box, though. (I'm using an Altaz Media Player and have used Mediatomb to serve video files from my Ubuntu 10.10 box to the television so far.)

  • @ajay2019 no vista was the most widely used at that time, so come up with a better excuse. no offence

  • i watched the whole video to see the result and you didn't even play streamed video

    ugh

  • Some of you tease him, but I'm glad he posted, cuz he showed that you need to enter it as udp:// on the client side. Even VLC's own tutorial neglects that, accidentally showing instead that you enter udp:// on the server end and rtp:// on the client end.

  • @Inzolity get rid of the @ symbol
