  • way to use rally tires with a rustler n a 11.1 lopo

  • @HifeMan My Rustler VXL is geared 30/76 with an 11.1 volt lipo battery as stated in an earlier comment. The brakes are fine on my Rustler. I was referring to my Jatos brakes being terrible. I've thought of adding weight to the front. All in all, I love them both as well.

  • @cfiore88 It all about control... You can't have a heavy finger. Also you can add weight to the front. Also the vxl is light, it handles nothing like an tank, more like an dirt bike. Also don't forget. To make a vxl to be fast, you need a lipo. That not stock. I do agree about the breaks. I hear you can fix that, but not to sure. Mine stops pretty good, but the jato is heaver. One on one(VXL lipo) I think the vxl will win a drag, but i love them both! XD

  • @VXLRusty The Rustler does wheelies too easily, even with it geared that high. It also handles like a tank aka. it's handling is shit. The Jato, when tuned correctly, is wicked fast, but the brakes, at least on mine, hardly work at all. Which one would win in a race? They're probably pretty evenly matched from my experience.

  • @cfiore88 nice bro, you said you have a jato and rusty with different gearing and a 11.1v battery, wouldnt the rustler just eat the jato...?

  • Haha I own both of these cars. Both are stock except the Rustler VXL is geared 30/76 with an 11.1 volt lipo battery.

  • Really if you are looking at straight line acceleration electric is the way to go. My friends savage has the same top speed as my Bandit almost exactly and when we raced em head to head the bandit got to top speed thrice as fast. Electric gets instant max torque is probly why

  • I have jato 3.3, Im going to buy VXL bandit soon :)

  • one of my fav videos ! electric ftw !!!!

  • at 3:46 thats how your suppose to drive a jato
