i think the reason they're doing this is because they found this guy that had Callbacks embedded in the .flv, i think his username was fullmetalalchemist or something... its like what Fri mentioned about unconverted videos containing malicious scripts

even xsurfthelightningx is getting converted using the WAY old hq hack. and videos with the newer w16 method are getting converted to just the thumbnail at the beginning. suckage! but found a few users who didn't, one is FreeOurTube, but whenever i try to examine his videos, i get an error message on WinXP and Vista. but i'm sure its because the metadata. so the callback thing a friend told me must be a myth, or complete fallacy!

yo?! did this video just get reencoded, i just checked the video in the cache and it was 325k 320X240 YT just reconstructed yesterday, i really hope this is temporary. is anyone else getting this?
