just goes to show that it doesnt matter how short or tall you are. regaurdless of the advantages it may bring, a persons height should never keep anyone from doing gymnastics.

Wow that was amazing to see the old man doing that!!!!!! i can't picture my grandpa or great grandpa doing that!!! i can't even do that and i'm 13!!!! :(

shit, OU has some good gymnasts!!
-
And, Phil Cahoy Jr is only 5'11"
-
@tomboynarutoNE I'm not sure what everyone is talking about, but I don't believe either of these guys is Phil Cahoy. The first guy is Steve Lakes, and the other guy is from Oklahoma. Phil Cahoy Jr. went to Nebraska, not Oklahoma.

im 5'11 and i cover more ground so im noet too short and not too tall im just right
-
sorry i didn't mean 2 reply 2 ur comment. I was talking 2 everybody

no. i am already a gymnast. started 2 years ago. only 5' 3". don't have levels but i am team 1(the highest) and have no trouble w/ spotting
-
i started gymnastics a year ago and i'm 5'8". It was really hard because when i started everyone else was very little. Taller gymnasts have to work much harder. I taught myself all my tumbling skills and have only been spotted once in my back handspring. Anyway after one year i am now about level 7. If your thinking about starting gymnastics but won't because you are to tall do it. There's nothing wrong with being a tall gymnast

You go dude! A real inspiration!

yeah. sometimes you under-estimate how strong your coaches are. like they are always going to catch you and help you along.
-
yeah. I am tall 174 cm. I am a girl. And I once had a coach that didn't have any problems spotting me. I was like everybody else.
i know Phil Cahoy he went to the olympics , he was on the same team as my dad and he's taller thatn that.
