How can a tropical rainforest island country that has been 98% deforested begin to recovery their environment while feeding their citizens in a sustainable way?

Kathleen Robbins has been working in Haiti since 2003 and lived there for 15 months. She works with People and Place's project Jatropha Pepinye to address these over the past three years. The goal of the Jatropha Pepinye is to engage a 1000 growers producing a million gallons of biodiesel/year on land that isn't suitable for food production. The internal market for biodiesel is immense, by Haitian standards, since all petroleum products in Haiti are imported. And while developing the capability to produce biodiesel, the entire value chain is being developed to maximize the economic impact and ensure sustainability. Eu fiz o teste funciona mesmo, so temos que ter cuidado que se o oleo vegetal ou a banha de porco nao tiverem com uma temperatura igual ou superior a 70 C nosso motor criara depositos encima do cabecote e diminuira drasticamente a vida util do motor e podera fundir em pouco tempo. se o oleo for aquecido para o motor a queima acontece por igual assim ele chega a ser mais benefico do que o Diesel convencional, no caso da Biogasolina ele deve ser aquecido a 70 a 90 graus e misturado a gasolina 50%

o cara da reportagem ja andou 95.000 km com oleo de fritura usado doado de graca pela visinhanca a S10 faz 10km com um litro de fritura entaum foram 9500 litros ao custo de R$ 0.00 e se ao inves de oleo usado ele tivesse usado Diesel seria 9500 litros de Diesel x R$ 1.80 (naum sei o preco do Diesel) = R$ 17.100 reais deixaram de sair do bolso dele como se do nada ele tivesse ganhado uma CB 300R novinha....
