Im pretty sure your just not gonna "chunk" that in your car. lol
-
My god son. thats like 2 whole sheets. haha nice design though. clean build

@trevcool3 I'm pretty sure 30hz is still low, a good, balanced frequency to tune your box to is 33hz, and it was proven. You won't hear voices coming out of 30hz -.- lol.
Even at 90hz on my home theatre subwoofer, you can't hear the voices come out.
-
@DirtBikingFag he is complaning about lack of what he calls call (high bass) that because those note's are a Higher frequence than the box is tuned to. if the box was tuned to 30ish hrz he would get more high's but idk why enyone would want mid frq over sub frq...
-
@trevcool3 Why the fuck would you want mids coming out of a fucking subwoofer?
-
I think the corners of the port are "off" a bit. Seems you put rounded trim in there, rather then just 45 degree pieces. Looks like the port would "open" a bit at each corner. In other words, when you designed your t-line, you have your port area right? That is supposed to be carried through the entire port run, including corners. I'm working on a much smaller home t-line and should have a video up in the next few day after I finish. I never seal until after testing just in case.
-
maby you dont get good low mids because you tuned you box to 20 Hz did you ever take that in to consideration
-
Wooo minivan for the win!
-
That box is waaaay too big for that sub...
-
The lows are all that count
-
Us plastic pipe not fuck up speakers with air channels its like putting a sub in a cace box!
Deep Pipes Deep bass Shorter pipes more punch bass!
-
@peniles2404lyf because screws hold better than pins. Pins/nails/staples will rattle loose with subwoofer enclosures. Pre-drill the hole to avoid splitting.
-
no demo :(
-
I love the video of the box build. Can you please email me the board cut sizes so I can build one? rbunker@woh.rr.com Thanks so much
-
i don't know much about boxes but what does a t-line do that's better than others?
-
nice box but why the screws? MDF wont hold like real wood does. pins would definitely be the way to go, but the best of luck though. cant wait to see it bumpin
-
plz can you email the schematic? I have the same subwoofer ... dj.adytzu22@yahoo.com

How long is the port?
-
y did u do all the curves in the inside wouldnt just a small rectandular box say the depth from where the sub is mounted to where the 1st panel on the inside work just fine?
-

hahahaha if i had a dollar for everytime you said "Alrighty"
thast a pretty big box for one sub? is it tuned?
clonesandbriggs 10 months ago
@clonesandbriggs It's a special type of box for making real nice low bass lines. It's tuned to 25hz. It also generates massive amounts of bass and real nice clean responsive notes too. If you have the space for one it's definitely the way to go. Put it this way, if makes my roof wobble and all the windows shake at half power.
