Pamela Harland, librarian at Plymouth Regional High School in Plymouth NH uses Kindles in her book club and circulates them to the students at the high school. She talks about managing accounts, collection development, and student reaction to the Kindles.
Good to see the Kindle making its way into the library system. I own both a Kindle, iPad, Touch, and iPhone and have Kindle books on all devices...but the K3 is my favourite device because the reading of my Amazon books on it is best. Thanks for the 'low-down' on what you've been up with the Kindle and how the library experience has been for you. Personally, I do not miss paper at all...wood pulp/analog books just don't last and moving with them is a pain. Kudos.
