Whats with the Elvis hairdo?? I half ass expect captain Kirk to say" thank you, thank you very much" and sing few verses of "you aint nothin but a hound dog" Good show, acting needs some work, but the characterizations are right on.

Back in 1977, Paramount planned to relauched the Trek franchise with "Star Trek: Phase II", with a refitted Enterprise and some new characters. But with the influence of Star Wars and Close Encounters, Paramount took the "Phase II" pilot into "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" instead. THIS is a fan-made series known originally as "Star Trek: New Voyages", continuing where TOS left off...and they're been converting eventually to the "Phase II"/"Motion Picture" era... :D

What exactly is "Phase 2"? Was this made by fans??? No way! It's amazing! The music, the decor, the costumes, the dialogue... It's like watching the real thing. Of course, it's not the same without the real actors, but I thought they were pretty good. And god, Spock is gorgeous!! :P
