1GOAL: Education for All is a campaign seizing the power of football to ensure that education for all is a lasting impact of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Raising our voices all over the world, together, we can make education a reality for the 72 million out-of-school boys and girls by 2015.

Join 1GOAL and sign your name for those who cannot.
In 2000, almost all world governments came together to create the UN Millennium Development and Education For All Goals, which aimed to secure a healthier world, free from disease and poverty. These include a pledge to end poverty through making sure every child can receive education by 2015. They promised to make sure there was enough money and that the policies were in place to make it a reality.

Since then an extra 40 million children are now going to school, but more is still needed to make sure those promises are met and education is provided for the remaining 72 million out-of-school children worldwide by 2015.

Alfalit International, Inc is a non-profit organization based in Miami. Through their various programs, Alfalit has changed the lives of more than 7,000,000 people by teaching them to read and write. Alfalit has programs in 22 countries throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and Africa and has been recognized at both the 2006 and 2007 White House Conference on Global Literacy, as well as, UNESCO's honors and first prize in literacy. Most of Alfalit's funds (92%) go directly to the people in need, therefore, little is left for advertising. Alfalit is hosting this event to raise support and awareness for its community development, health and nutrition programs jointly with its literacy, basic education and preschool courses. 1 GOAL - Education for all! Did you know that One Difference donate clean water systems to school children in Africa ? The children can now go to school instead of spending hours collecting water. With water now available, the sanitation blocks can be used, vegetable gardens have been planted and school lunches can now be cooked and supplied. The clean water systems are funded using 100% of the profits from sales of One Water. "Like" One Difference on Facebook it's a genuine cause for good!
