Elastic Park is the next big project for Airigami. Help get this amazing touring show on the road by voting for our Pepsi Refresh Project grant submission by visiting refresheverything.com/ElasticPark. Elastic Park is inspired by "Jurassic Park" by the late Micheal Crichton, in it you will be able to walk among life-size dinosaurs- made entirely out of balloons.

  • ummm, sounds good but, what about life span?, how long can the balloons hold before they pop

  • @Badtrixx19 Many things throughout the display will need refreshing every few days. Our largest exhibits have been set up for 10 days.

  • damn where i get the TIckets or is it free ? Answer this question or die when u walk out of youre door ! :D

  • @SebbeMega We're still looking to get this one funded, so unfortunately, i can't answer the question. All big Airigami projects are announced on the blog and to our mailing list. You can sign up for the mailing list at airigami.com. Also, if you like Elastic Park, check out the videos on Balloon Manor. It's not happening this year, but it will be back some time.

  • what are you going to do with the balloons afterward?

  • It varies. At the end of some big projects, we auction off some of the more interesting pieces for charity. At other events, we give away pieces that are still standing to other places that can make use of them. They don't last forever, obviously, but as they shrink, if we can give them new homes, that's preferred to just popping everything.

As for the popped balloons, latex balloons are biodegradable, and we're always looking for new uses.
