The plasma universe is currently enjoying success as a "Big-Bang basher." In due course, its own weaknesses will begin receiving more attention. The lesson is clear: Creationists should be especially cautious about accommodating new science ideas, even if they oppose evolutionary models like the Big Bang. The replacement may be even worse than the original problem! Steady State, Big Bang, Plasma — naturalistic theories of origins will continue to rise and fall.

Further, the current crisis of theistic evolution in defending the Big Bang shows the embarrassing result of compromise. Those who have wrongly inserted the Big Bang into Genesis may someday be the only ones left to defend the idea of an initial explosion! The creation of the universe was supernatural, by definition, and will always remain beyond the understanding of skeptical cosmologists. This is not to say that the creation view closes the door to inquiry. Instead, it accepts the refreshing and truthful fact that there are limits to the domain of natural science.

As matters stand at present, there is no better astronomic theory for the origin of the universe than the inspired explanation of Scripture. "By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. . . . For He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast" (Psalm 33:6,9). ". . . for He commanded, and they were created" (Psalm 148:5).

  • @bajajoes1 Then why even imagine the idea that there is a god. If god is unknowable and doesn't do anything against what we'd see as natural, then tada, it probably doesn't exist.

  • IF the Universe is eternal without beginning or end, would that indicate "GOD" is in/of it?

Perhaps "GOD" is an imponderable due to Man's limitations.

  • your stupid dude i'd rather remain sceptical than blindly and foolishly believe everything i'm told i don't trust anyone lest of all those who are undiserving of my trust like a fool like yourself! bye

  • I am always highly sceptical of documentaries hosted by a voiceover which sounds like an advert for Prozac. Like 'Quantum Communication'. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • @LeagueOfWisdom

"As matters stand at present, there is no better astronomic theory for the origin of the universe than the inspired explanation of Scripture."

As time comes and go, there is no better astronomic theory for the origin of the universe than the uninspired explanation of a bunch of ignorant peasants who didn't even know what an "universe" is. (since a flat earth covered by a solid skydome with "luminators" attached to it do not imply the existence of one in the first place)

  • @ChantryKnight He only posted it because it contradicts the big-bang which contradicts the literal interpretation of the holy bable (which he holds) that the universe was created 6000 years ago (not 13 billion like the big-bangers say). Altough the literal interpretation implies that the earth is flat and sky is firm which is exactly what the ancient authors of the bable believed. So I really don't understand how can someone in his right mind argue that the bible is literally true.

  • Thank you for posting this, despite your obvious inclination to disregard science in favour or religion. And though I disagree whole-heartedly with your opinion, I am happy to see at least one person of religious "faith" who is willing to listen to other ideas.

  • The Earth was flat and the center of the universe ... Gosh.... even if Big Bang is false, this is still just a big bullshit joke ROFL

  • I love when those whose grasp of 'religion' comes from the likes of Dawkins and/or what's posted on youtube by nuts who've read maybe the Bible maybe once or twice. The thunderbolts group's ideas vindicate my religion entirely. I believe they will eventually see things my way, allow that the expanding earth fits into their paradigm, and even accept that the planets, stars, systems, galaxies, and even the universe are not only alive, but awake, aware, and in charge.

  • "evolutionary models like the Big Bang"

Come again? The Big Bang is not an "evolutionary model". It's the best explanation for all the cosmological observations to date.
