I bought this Sony HDR-XR500V few days ago, and i cant do zoom using digital, it only work on my 12x optical, thats it, do i have to press something to get digital zoom?

You can turn it on in Menu > Settings > Movie settings > Digital zoom

Chispas no sta nada mal, stoy pensando en comprarme una filmadora, estoy investigando cual seria la apropiada y me anime por la Sony XR200 el problema esq aki donde vivo aun no llegan las de alta definicion, solo hay las estandar, tendre q seguir sperando,
algo q tambien me deja trist esq keria una de alta definicion pero con muchisimo zoom y q sea con disco duro, pero creo q DISCO DURO = menos zoom :(
